- Scheme for providing one time financial assistance amounting Rs. 25000/- to the family of a prospective bride having attained the age of 18 years on the date of such marriage. Family income of the bride when applying should be within Rs. 1.5 lakhs per annum.
- The scheme has been made operational since 01.04.18.
- The marriage should be the first marriage of the bride.
- It is one time assistance for a specific prospective bride and not applicable for her for any subsequent marriage/s.
- Application should be made atleast 30 days and within 60 days of the proposed date of marriage.
- The prospective groom must attain the age of 21 years on the date of such marriage.
- The entire process has been made online from 01.04.19.
