Alipurduar is the youngest district formed after bifurcation of the parent district of Jalpaiguri in June 2014. With its creation in June this year, the Office of the District Magistrate and Collector, Alipurduar is ready functional since then and along with it some of the vital sections? Establishment required with the district office have also become functional.


The Establishment Section deals with the service matters of the officers and staff of the Collectorate. The matters as follows:-

1. Reporting to the concerned department of the officers and staffs.

2. Preparation of budget for the collectorate.

3. Preparation of bills like salary, T.A. /TC, Pension, medical and GPF advance etc.

4. Revision and fixation of salary.

5. Calculation of Income tax.

6. Processing of pension matters- a. Employees Pension. b. Family Pension.

7. West Bengal Health scheme for employees and pensioners

8. Sanction and maintenance of leave records.

9.Maintenance of service book.

10. Sanction of GPF Advance and TA/TC Advance.

11. Recruitment of Retired Re-employed Govt. Employees (Contractual).

12. Allotment of Housing.

13. Die-in harness cases.

14. Maintenance of personal file.

15. Office Formation : Correspondence various departments for sanction and posting of staffs.
